A neumeronym for the word "accessibility", consisting of the beginning and ending letters of the word and a numerical count of the letters in between.


Accessibility

The category of digital information design specializing in the ability to diagnose and develop content which is usable by all individuals, especially individuals with disabilities.


Accessible

A status for digital content, indicating conformance with certain standards and usability requirements. 

Note, "accessible" is not at all the same thing as something being "available".


ARROW Keys

Keyboard keys for navigating through menus and form fields.

Activate forms and interactive prompts.



ESCAPE

Close windows, exit form fields, cancel the current context or operation.

Focus

The part of a computer operating system or program which is actively awaiting your input.

Refers to WCAG.

Success Criteria are the individual measures of different aspects of web accessibility. The Success Criteria specify the conditions and requirements for content to be considered accessible (or not).
